All Visitors who participate and use the Forums and Site Facilities are expected to read and agree not to break any of the Sitewide Rules set out below during their time on the site.

These Rules are applicable in all Forums and Site Facilities including but not limited to Private Messaging and Personal Profiles. Visitors are expected to refer to those Rules also and agree to comply before participating in the Forum.

Forum Rules

Try to stay on topic at all times. Try not to drift off topic during a thread conversation. Please don't join in with off topic discussion even if others are. Instead, try starting a new thread and linking to it. Off topic posts may get deleted, and threads that really get out of hand will be closed.

Post similar questions together. If you have several questions, it's better to ask them all in the one thread rather than create additional threads to ask each within. Make use of the edit feature in your post to add more information.

Use short, concise thread titles. When posting a new thread, it's a good idea to use a short, yet informative title, so it is not too long and other Visitors to the Forum know what your thread is about.

Try not to double post! If you post additional identical replies/posts by mistake, please delete the duplicate replies. Where you need to add more information on to your original reply, click edit in the top right corner of your post and add more to it, instead of clicking Reply and creating two replies.

Do not flood a forum. Flooding is where you post to many threads in a short period of time, perhaps to stay on top of the forum stats, or just to have your name all over the first page of a forum so you are popular, or perhaps because you want someone to see you post a lot there. Other members and guests want to use the forum as well as you. Give them a chance by allowing them to be the last person to reply to a thread.

No offensive, insulting, profane or vulgar remarks are allowed. This rule applies anywhere on the site; your signature, posts and everywhere else you can submit something to the forum.

Do not impersonate other Visitors. Trying to pretend to be someone else on the site, including Staff, is not allowed, because firstly you'll be bad at it and secondly you will be punished!

Do not spam. If you are caught spamming anywhere, punishment can range from warnings to permanent bans depending on the severity and content of the spam and whether it is a repeat offense!

Do not use other accounts to break any of the Rules. Please do not attempt to break rules by using another account for the purpose of anonymity to avoid punishment. All Moderators and Site Staff can find out who you are if they need to!

Do not aid other Members to bypass bans. Using your knowledge of the site workings and Moderator tools to help a troublemaker or banned Visitor will get you in a lot of trouble as well.

Pornographic content is not permitted on this site. This includes the provision of links to source material, or the posting of pornographic text or imagery anywhere on the Site. So keep all of those "special pictures" to yourself, no-one wants to see them here!

Do not use inappropriate avatars or signatures. Using any of these site provisions to show acts of sex or blatant sexual imagery or text, profanity, religious, social or personal slandering is a serious offence.

What is acceptable:

1. Images of a tasteful nature, including images of individuals with reasonable censorship of body parts that would generally be considered sexual in nature.
2. Images that generally wouldn't be considered offensive by the majority.

What is not acceptable

1. Banners featuring aspects which would be generally considered as "sex acts" between two parties, i.e nipple licking, or solo, i.e masturbation.
2. Blatant images of a sexual and distasteful nature, including one or more parties engaging in touching/fondling of body parts, or alluding to other obscene acts.

Runescape Rules

• Don't harass any clan members, begging is a form of harassment.

• Don't swear or use inappropriate language in ClanChat.

• Do not threaten anyone in the Clan.

• Do not multi-clan with other general themed clans.

• Join the ClanChat when you log in.

• Don't post on the Runescape Official Forums' Clan Thread more than once every five minutes.

• Don't post spam in the ClanChat with pointless/annoying messages.

• Do not ask for ranks. If you are a supportive, active member, rank will come in time. Please earn them.

• Follow the Runescape rules set out by Jagex.

Disciplinary Measures

Should a Visitor be found guilty of breaking one or more of the above Rules, they may serve a variable amount of time under certain restrictions. These can include various punishments like not being able to post as being banned from the forums or clan chat for a temporary period of time.

Repeat rulebreakers or serious offenders will be subject to a permanent ban, whereby they cannot use site facilities ever again, and removed from the clan.

Ending Note

The rules above were designed to ensure all Visitors to the forums have an enjoyable experience.

Please note these rules are meant to cover the spirit of expected behavior on the site, and the level of enforcement used will reflect the SPIRIT of the rules, which may cover infractions that are not explicitly covered here but which are quite obvious to a general public. There may also be some variability in actions taken against rule infractions, but all will fall within the general scope and intent of these rules.
