Firstly, thier culture is similar to the vikings here in the nordic country, Norway and Sweden being the central of vikings
There is an expression called "Svensk viking" (swedish viking) meaning that you are proud of swedish culture and swedens past, can also mean that you put much faith in your own strength. Not sure if Norway got a similar expression or not.
In postbag over the hedge 39 there is a letter to Gunnar Holdstrom (Gunnar and Holdström is quite common first and sur names in the nordic countrys) and he ends hes reply with "Have a surströmming day". Surströmming (soured baltic herring:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surstr%C3%B6mming) is a dish eaten is sweden tradidtionaly at least once a year during summer.
In the glorious memories quest, saying "cheers" in the way of the fremennik is "skål". Cheers in swedish is also "skål" (not sure if it is the same with nynorsk, but its not in bokmål nor dannish)
Thats all i have found so far, will keep an eye out for other signs ^^
