Kraig's guide to getting yourself a promotion!

This is a FAQ of the clan, so i thought it needed a guide. You may say many of these things are straight forward, and many may already be known, but abit of guidance in the right direction might just help.

1. GET INVOLVED

If your around, then people are bound to recognise you, and put you in line for not only a promotion, but may also vote you for the council of the fortnight.

2. BUMP OUR THREADS

We have numerous threads on the Runescape Clan Recruitment section, find them with the help of your comrades and bump them to get new members...this leads to number 3 which is...

3. RECRUIT NEW PEOPLE

Isnt there a section for people posting applications on Runescape? Yes there is, you can get in there and tell them to join the one and only Clan Absolute.

As for recruiting, you can also ask that random stranger in the bank...or that bloke who's tanning your hide at a mini game. Or you could just ask a friend.

4. ATTEND EVENTS

You'll be in screenshots and everything! You'll be the life and soul of the clan if you meet other members, and they'll have something to remember you by. Plus its very favourable promotion-wise if you attend events.

5. USE THIS FORUM

Yeh, that doesnt mean spamming in with mindless rubbish, it means contributing in a good way to things like saying if you'll attend an event or not, comming up with an idea or expressing an opinion.

6. USE CLAN CHAT, AND TALK ON IT

Yes, being on clan chat does say that you are part of the clan, and typing words into it makes you an even bigger part of our community.

7. GET INVOLVED IN THESE NEW SCHEMES

Like adopt a newbie (Dunno what it is? then look for it)
Or the Ventrillo servers...usually anything new that you join will hold you in high regard.

8. HELP YOUR FELLOW COMRADES

One member crying because they got killed by a cow? No need to fear, you will help them and preserve their stuff! Because this clan looks out for every one if its members. Anything from advice to helping them skill is apprechiated.

9. BE CONSTRUCTIVE

Yes im running out of ideas, but this is alright because its saying bring your ieas to the Clan Absolute table, and who knows, we may use them!

10. AND FINALLY...

Lol thanks Jess and Husky, this guides just out there for that newbie who might not have even joined a clan before, allows them to know whats involved.

Pshhh look at Rien over here, rubbing it into our faces that he no longer has to worry about promo's, so he can help the less fortunate still need to worry. I see right through your fake attempt to help.

But seriously, good guide for people who are concerned about ranks. To my knowledge members begging or asking about ranks hasn't been a big problem, which is a great show of the maturity of the clan, and hopefully we continue to have no problem.

well a fortnight is a word used to descride a two-week period, and the fortnight is a meeting that happens every two weeks where the new rotating council is announced, and where everyone just hangs out at gribbz house.
